With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Walton Parks (Lunenburg, Nova Scotia), who passed away on February 26, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald Walton Parks to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, Peter and Paul; his father Robert; his brother-in-law Wayne; and the mother of his children Lynn.
He is survived by: his mother Frances Parks; his sister Jane Hall (Phillip); his children, Chad Parks (Marielle), Stephanie Balcome (Brad) and Tyler Parks (Angie); and his grandchildren, Harrison, Evelyn and Ava. He is also survived by nephews and niece, and a community of friends and neighbors.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St Andrew's Presbyterian Church (111 Townsend St, Lunenburg, NS B0J2C0).
Donnie wanted to acknowledge the incredible comradery and support provided by his friends in the Fire Department by asking that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lunenburg and District Fire Department via e-transfer to [email protected] or via cash or cheque dropped off at the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home.
