It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David George Himmelman (Lunenburg, Nova Scotia), born in Jarvis, Ontario, who passed away on December 19, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Himmelman and Francis Himmelman; his daughter Devon Marin; and his brother-in-law Ray Burpee. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Dawn Burpee; his son Mike Himmelman (Val) of Winnipeg, MB; his sister Anne Brown (Eric); his sister-in-law Eleanor Burpee of Fredericton, NB; his son-in-law Robert Marin of Quebec City, QC; and his grandchildren, Jonah Marin of Quebec City, QC, Thomas "Tommy" and Chelsey Himmelman of Winnipeg, MB. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Flowers from the immediate family only, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater or Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg would be appreciated by the family.
