He was predeceased by: his parents, J. E. Ernst and Alice Little (Wood); and his brothers, Ken and Glen. He is survived by: his partner Blake Starratt; his sister Vivian Colliness of Victoria; his niece Kathy of Vancouver Island; and his nephew Jim of Regina.

Covid-19 Restrictions to apply with proof of Double Vaccination and Masks will be required for visitation and funeral service.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Lunenburg County VON or to the Palliative Care of the South Shore.
