He was predeceased by: his parents, Murray Freeman and Erna Clarabell Spindler (Demone); his wife Karen Moira (Cook); his brothers, Bobby and Rickey; and his siblings-in-law, Jackie Cook and Marguerite Spindler.
He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Fox (Gary) of First South, Linda Surette (Alan) of First South and Annette Wentzell (Alan); his sister Diane Cook; his sister-in-law Nancy Spindler; his brother Wayne Spindler (Marlene); his grandchildren, Robert (Nicole Fox), Brittany Spencer, Shawn Zinck and Bradley Wentzell (Chad Spindler); and his great grandchildren, Kaylee, Caden, Casey Fox, William Sewell, Jake, Lily Spencer, Alexa Zinck, Parker and Tenley Spindler.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation, IWK Hospital or to any other charity.
