He was predeceased by: his parent Earl Baker; his wife Barbara; his son Honourable Michael Baker; and his brothers, Robert Baker, Laurence Baker (Virginia), Carl Baker (Wanetta) and Bernard Baker (Philomene).
He is survived by: his parent Lily Baker (Westhaver); his children, Valerie Burley (Paul) of Guelph and Peter Brook (Paula); his daughter-in-law Cynthia Baker (Gary Moore); his grandchildren, Samantha Baker, Halifax, Alexander Baker (Ceilagh MacDonald), Toronto, Andrew, Stephen Baker, Matthew Baker, Daniel Baker, Joshua Burley (Chelsea Botsford), Thunder Bay and Benjamin Burley; his siblings, Christine McNeill (Hubert) of Summerside, PEI and Vincent Baker (Norma); and also, Sunny Brook, Mount Uniacke and Waterloo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church or to the Lunenburg County VON.
