We are sad to announce that on May 11, 2023, at the age of 82, Catherine Brown Hanhams of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, born in Belleoram, Newfoundland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Savoury and Vivian Savoury (Mullins); her sons, Fred and Levi; and her siblings, Dora Fiander, Daisy Morris, Frank Perham, Wilfred Savoury and Gerald.
She is survived by: her husband Fred; her children, Mary (Dianne), Wally (Nancy), Frank (Michelle), Oakhill, Harold (Tara) and Donnie (Karen); and her siblings, Vivian Hillier (John), Queen Cohen (Mike), Colleen Kirk of Hamilton, ON, Donna Piercey (Gary) of Edmonton, AB, Stan (Sheila) of D'Escousse, NS, Charles and Vernon. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to St. John's Anglican Church, Lunenburg, or the Alzheimer's Society of Nova Scotia would be appreciated by the family.
