Barbara Janet Simonds Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Janet Simonds (Lunenburg, Nova Scotia), who passed away on January 10, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Simonds; her parents, Grace Cooke Needham (Fraser) and Leslie Cooke; her stepson Fred; her brother-in-law George Oliver; and her stepson-in-law Pat Moyle.
She is survived by: her cousins, Adeline and Reeves; her sister-in-law Margaret Oliver (late George); her stepchildren, Linda Moyle (late Pat), Patty MacLellan (Peter), Debbie Meloche (Al) and Rob Simonds (Lorraine); her niece Debbie McCourt (Ian); and her friends, Patti Robertson, Kevin Lohnes and Barbara. She is also survived by 10 step-grandchildren, 6 step-great grandchildren.
