It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Lohnes (Lunenburg, Nova Scotia), who passed away on February 25, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent Harry Murphy; her husband John Maxwell Lohnes; her sister Florence Fry; and her son-in-law Dennis Wardell. She is survived by: her parent Elizabeth Murphy (Whynacht); her children, Karen Wardell of First South and Tommy Lohnes (Linda) of Garden Lots; her grandchildren, Matthew Jody (Crystal), Patrick Jody and John Jody (Tina); her great grandchildren, Colton, Leah, Mathew, Elizabeth and Landon; her siblings, Joan Conrad (Sherman) of Bayport, Ann Perry (John) of Bayport, Cathryn Harpell of Lunenburg and Harrison Murphy (Dorothy); and also Dartmouth. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Garden Lots Cemetery, St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, or the Garden Fund at Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg.
