He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Aubrey Zinck Sr. of Mahone Bay and Aileen Zinck (Young); his daughters, Marilyn (Bill) and Melanie (James); his grandchildren, Ethan, Lily and Nathaniel; his sister Jocelyn Wentzell (Eric); his mother-in-law Doris Mossman of Lunenburg; and his brother Michael.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, Lunenburg Fire Department or to SHAID Tree Animal Shelter.
