She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Gordon Oickle; and her siblings, Daisy Buonopane (Massachusetts), Betty Joudrey (Bridgewater) and Jimmy (Upper LaHave). She is survived by: her children, Wendy King (Peter) of Dayspring, NS, Glen (Joan) of Barrie, ON, Marlene MacFarlane (David) of Hants Border, NS and Diane Livingstone (James) of Parkdale, NS.; her grandchildren, Melinda Sutherland (Grant) of Barrie, ON, Jessica Lemieux (Chris) of Innisfil, ON, Geoffrey Livingstone (Tara) of Hammonds Plains, NS, Ian Livingstone, Shaun MacFarlane and Meaghan MacFarlane of Halifax, NS; and her great grandchildren, Kale, Charlotte, Asher and Jack.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Luke's Lutheran Church (12713 Nova Scotia Trunk 3, Rhodes Corner, NS B4V5N3).
