He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Melvin and Charlotte Faye George (Varner); his brother Allen; and his grandparents, Maurice, Ruby Varner (Joudrey), Bessie (Wryter) and Roland George.
He is survived by: his sons, Axel Duffey, Allen and Jayden; and his siblings, Angela (Jonah), Annette (Corey), Kelly Lower Sackville (Ryan), Shelly (Jesse), Sheldon, Adam (Emma) and Point.
