We are sad to announce that on April 6, 2023, at the age of 90, Ernie Joseph Pothier of Lower Wedgeport, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Pothier and Lydia Pothier (Cottreau); and his siblings, Laurent Cottreau, Geraldine Doucette, Richard Pothier and Lyn Pothier.

He is survived by: his wife Zelma Pothier (Cottreau); his children, Owen Pothier (Lisa) and Bonnie Cottreau (Alan); his grandchildren, Chelsea (Chris), Nicholas (Kylie) and Wynter; his great grandchild Estelle; and his brother Jean "John" Pothier (Marie).

Donations in memory of Ernie may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of choice.
