She was predeceased by: her parents, John Robert and Vallie Marie Mead (Robar); her son Joseph Parsons; and her siblings, George Mead (Joan), Gene Mead (Kathy), Catherine Hall (Bud), Nina Chambers, Patsy Short (Clarence), John Jr. Mead, Lawrence Mead and Russell Mead.
She is survived by: her close friend David Caldwell; her daughter Carla MacQuarrie (Dion); her daughter-in-law Susan Parsons; her grandson Roger MacQuarrie (Camille Vincent); her stepgrandchildren, Christopher Lirette (Chantal) and Ronda Kaulbach (Terry); and her siblings, Wanda Macdonald (Eugene), Rupert (late Dee), Myrna Feethan (late Luke), Rose Hay (David), Valerie Myra (Eugene), Joan (late Graham), MacDonald (Paul), Fern Mead and Anne Garnett. She is also survived by five great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren.
