He is survived by: his parents, Dave (Sandy Laustsen) and Kim (Paul Fleming); his brothers, Ryan Laustsen (Julia) and Zachary Laustsen (Olive); his grandfather Jim MacLeod (Betty); his aunts and uncles, Velvet (Paul Dennis), Donald (Deborah Jenkins), Wendy Bourque, Janet (Werner Sawatzky) and Sandy (Dwayne Gordon); his nieces and nephews, August, Rose, Sage, Ellie and Noelle; and his cousins, Vanessa Passi (Luke), Emily Nelson (Grant), Amanda Glynn (Dan), Miranda Jenkins (Wade), Kaalee Jenkins, Brandon Gordon and Elisha (Matt).
