With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Mary Cooke (Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia), who passed away on August 19, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Margaret Mary may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Margaret Mary touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Lawson and Margaret Irene Crowell (Deveau); and her sister Carol Lorraine Fuller (Leon). She is survived by: her husband Alexander Raymond "Ray" Cooke; her children, Raymond Bruce Cooke (Paula) of Ottawa and Anne Marie Breton (Andre) of Lake Echo; and her sister Elaine Leslie Mailman (John) of Aylesford. She is also survived by her extended family, friends.
She volunteered at numerous community and church organizations, always helping out, making donations and providing inspiration and words of encouragement.
