She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Brown (Maggie) and Tex Brown; her brothers, Roy and James; and her boyfriend Brian Slattery.

She is survived by: her daughter Raelyn; her son-in-law Scott (Sprague); her grandchildren, Kaci, Kaden and Sully; her close friends, Claire Grimmer (Bill) and Beaty Belyea (Peter); her sister-in-law Ada Brown (Jeremy Slattery); and her nieces and nephews, Josh, Vanessa (Jaidlin), Shawn, Danny, Tiffany (Jason) and Jason (Kathy).

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Tribute Sackawa Canoe Club (159 First Lake Dr, Lower Sackville, NS B4C3J9).
