She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Edwards and Fay Edwards (Hill); and her brothers, Walter, Fred, Brian and John.
She is survived by: her children, Shawna McGovern (Jeff Hillsvale) and Stuart (Beaver Bank); her grandchildren, Megan (Tiffany), Mandy (Holly) and Tyler; her sisters, Loreen Patterson (Lake Charlotte) and Lea Gardiner (Lunenburg); and her close friend Albert. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the "Bosom Buddies" or charity of choice.
