It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gayle Covey (Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia), born in Kingston, Ontario, who passed away on June 20, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sadie Alguire (Sprott) and Gordon Levi Lawrence Alguire; her brother James Gordon Alguire (Patricia); and her granddaughter Dawn Marie. She is survived by: her husband Vince; her children, Vince Jr. (Vicki MacKenzie), Christopher (Amy), Peter (Lisa) and Caroline Birrett (Mark); and her grandchildren, Michael, Matthew (Katrina), Benjamin (Sarah), Sarah (Dalton), Lucas (Lindsey), Gregory, Jennifer and Rachel. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
