It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Florence A. MacAdam (Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia), born in Brookside, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 14, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Noble McNutt and Winnifred McNutt (Isenor); her husband Angus Stephen MacAdam; and her siblings, Lillian Pratt, Grace Cowl, Chester, Cecil, Gordon and Russell McNutt.
She is survived by: her siblings, Frances Caddell, Hazel Hatt (Donald) and Alden McNutt (Evelyn); her sister-in-law Rita McNutt; and her stepchildren, Ronita MacAdam, Heather Noel (Carl), Leah LeBlanc (Victor), Maria Tomlinson (Phil) and David MacAdam (Cindi). She is also survived by 11 step-grandchildren and 16 step-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Atlantic Funeral Home Sackville Chapel (125 Sackville Dr, Lower Sackville, NS B4C2R3). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (33 Old Sackville Rd, Lower Sackville, NS B4C2J5).
