It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Nelson Burke (Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia), born in Moncton, New Brunswick, who passed away on September 14, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Burke and Connie Burke; and his aunt Dorothy Jackson. He is survived by: his wife Janice; his daughters, Stephanie and Rebecca (Benno); his granddaughters, Ava and Vienna; his brother David (Susan); his nieces and nephews, Heather, Chris (Heidi), Tim (San), Brayden and Lilia; and his siblings-in-law, Lynn Kilfoil (Ben), Ralph Keirstead (Pam), Bruce Keirstead (Sharon) and Bonny Keirstead.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bedford Baptist Church or a charity of choice.
