Deborah Blaney-Ward Obituary

In loving memory of Deborah Blaney-Ward (Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia), who departed this world on March 23, 2025 at the age of 70. Deborah leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Deborah may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Suzanne and Eva (Claude); her husband Earl Wood; her children, Tracy, Karen (Bill) and Andrew (Tanya); and her stepchildren, Jamie (Stephanie) and Sarah Wood. She was also cherished by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Atlantic Funeral Home (125 Sackville Dr, Lower Sackville, NS B4C2R3).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Nova Scotia Burn Treatment Society or the Canadian Burn Survivors Community in Debbie's honour.
