She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Cooke and Sarah Durance (Dahr); and her husband Arthur "Art" O'Quinn. She is survived by: her children, Robert "Bobby" (Ginette Ferron), Deborah "Debbie" (Tony Fortune) and Kenneth "Kenny"; her grandchildren, Julia Barker (Bill), Nicole Fortune (Ian Wagstaff), Shauwn and Stafan O'Quinn; her great grandchildren, Joey Barker (Kirira Fedorus), Noelle Barker, William and Jacob Wagstaff; her great great grandchild Arthur Barker; and her sisters, Shirley Lorraine and Betty Gough.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis (192 First Lake Dr, Lower Sackville, NS B4C3J8). Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Atlantic Funeral Home Sackville Chapel (125 Sackville Dr, Lower Sackville, NS B4C2R3). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A reception will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
In memory of Barbara donations can be made in her name to St. Francis by the Lakes Anglican Church or charity of choice.
