It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Marie Gracie of Lower l'Ardoise, Nova Scotia, born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on August 24, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard E. Sampson and Margaret Sampson (Rehberg); and her siblings, Richard (Gary Sampson) and Joan Gould. She is survived by: her husband Raymond; her sons, Brian Gracie (Laura) of Victoria, BC, Robert Gracie (Brenda) and Bernard Gracie; her siblings, Lorraine McManus, Patsy Whalen, Vera Doucette (Wayne), Christina MacDonald (Duncan), Carol Sampson and John Sampson (Elaine); and her brothers-in-law, Peter McManus and David Whalen. She is also survived by Seven grand children and three great grandchildren.
