She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Florence (Joyce); her adoptive father Hilaire Samson; her sons, Blair Samson (Cathy), James Pepping, Edmonton, John Slater, Gary Slater (Kim) and Bradley Slater (Lisa); her grandson Kristopher Slater (Amy); her sons, Chandler Slater, Randy Samson (Erin) and Kyle Samson (Haley); her great grandchild Leo; her sisters, Carol-Anne McPhee (Bobby), Judy-Anne MacNeil (John) and Iona; her husband Cecil Slater; and her brother John Samson (Johnnie).
