He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Cross and Elizabeth Cross (Eavis); his former wife Dorothy (Fifield); his siblings, Irene (late John Axani), Harold (late Eileen), Richard (late Georgina) and Allan; and his son-in-law Clarence MacInnis.
He is survived by: his wife Mary (Rideout); his children, Debbie Horton, Shirley MacInnis, Denise Dean (Aaron), Kim Wadman (Donnie) and Blair (Heather); his stepdaughters, Marie Troke (Maurice) and Annabelle Rideout (Paul); his grandchildren, David Horton, Aimee MacIntyre (Sheldon), Kim MacInnis, Tiffany Fader (Jeff) and Cory MacInnis (Katie Carroll); his stepgrandson Mitchell Troke; his great grandchildren, Liam, Winter, Noah, Lachlan, Kiden, Ainsley and Callie; his siblings, Esther Cross, Florence (late Ross DeYoung), Donald (Isobel) and Donna (late Malcolm MacDonald); and his sister-in-law Olga Cross. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the An Cala Palliative Care Unit, Sydney.
