He was predeceased by: his wife Eileen Hill (MacGillivary); and his parents, Percy Hill and Lillian Hill (Beaton). He is survived by: his children, Eileen "Sis" (Gary), Beverly (Russell), Elizabeth (Keith), Ashley (Kayla) and Derrick "D. D."; his grandchildren, Phillip "Phil", Sarah Ann (Devin), Troy (Rand), Stephen, Ravin (Will), Anthony, Brody, Presley, Olivia, Ryker, Merrick, Moira, Ivy and Matilda "Tilly"; and his great grandchildren, Nova, Noelle, Shelby and Marcus.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sydney Memorial Chapel (49 Welton St, Sydney, NS B1P5R3).
In memory of Ashley's love for gardening and the trees that filled his property, the family asks that, in lieu of flowers, you consider planting a tree in his honor.
