She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Douglas and Esther Mae Acker (Goodrich); her husband Wilbert Churchill Bower; her son-in-law Kevin Goodick; her brothers, George Acker and Gary Acker; and her half-brothers, Leslie Acker and Arthur Acker.

She is survived by: her daughter Carol; her grandsons, Aaron Goodick (Donna) and Lance Goodick (Crystal); her great grandchild Jade Goodick; her stepgreat-granddaughter Jordyn; her great grandchild Brooks Goodick; her brothers, James Acker (Evelyn) and Steven (Carolyn); and her stepsisters, Beverly Smith and Jacqueline Irwin.

In lieu of flowers donations in Patricia's name can be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
