It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jessie Townsend (Lockeport, Nova Scotia), who passed away on September 7, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Roache and Ada Roache (Townsend); her former husband William Rupert Fiske; and her siblings, Herman, Eugene, Mervin, Edwin, Keith, Ernie, Edith and Elaine.

She is survived by: her husband Albert Townsend; her sons, Dean (Janice), Emerson (Laura), Andre (Jackie) and Mark (Vanessa); her stepson Tim Townsend (Angela); and her daughters, Wanda (Richard) and Lorenda (John). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Lockeport Pentecostal Church.
