He was predeceased by: his parents, Althea Stewart and Edward Stewart; his former wife Lucille (Tillie); his grandsons, Joshua Ward and Matthew Pass; and his brothers, Edward (Ted) and Hugh (Dagger).

He is survived by: his wife Dianne; his children, Laurie Pass (Bradley), N. S., Susan MacKenzie (Kenneth), P. E., Melanie Batsford (Glenn), Andrew and Riverview N. B.; his stepsons, Paul Stephens (Stephanie) and Doug Stephens (Lisa); his grandchildren, Alycia (Lucas), Benjamin (Laverne), Emily (Thomas), Alannah (Isaac), Nathan and Emma; his great grandchildren, Kaelynn and Samuel Alan; and his siblings, Russel (Kay), Helen Oxford, Herbie (Debby) and Louise DeMings (James). He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
