He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd McCarthy and Jean McCarthy (Llewellyn); his father-in-law Max Wamboldt Sr.; his stepfather-in-law Max Croft; and his brothers-in-law, Max Wamboldt Jr. and Vernon Crouse.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda (Wamboldt); his children, Derek, Rhonda, Ashley and Conquerall Mills; his grandchildren, Hayden, Reegan, Seth, Kyle, Savannah, Allie, Leah, Jaxson, Janika and Rennick; his siblings, Aubrey (Margaret), John (Betty), Phillip (Christine), Byron (Emily), Earl (Debbie) and Annette (Jim); his mother-in-law Emily Croft; and his sisters-in-law, Paulette and Joanne (Robert). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the funeral service will be by invitation only.
