He was predeceased by: his parents, Neil D. Walker and Victoria Walker (Thurbide); his wife Mary Josephine "Deany" Walker (Chisholm); and his siblings, Celina Roland (Victor), George (Genevieve), Zadie (Gert) and Allan (Christina).
He is survived by: his children, Gail (Ron), Bruce, Emily (Fred), Susan (Gerard) and Paula (Sheldon); his grandchildren, John Todd (Sam), Mitch (Katie), Brendan (Catherine), Paul (Sarah), Josh (Catherine), Frances (Taylor), Rachael and Bethany (Grant); his siblings-in-law, Peggy Hicks, Emily Palazzola, Douglas and Harold Chisholm; and also, Gracie, Ruby, Claire, Luke and Oliver.
In line with N. S. Department of Health protocols, those in attendance are asked to wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
