He was predeceased by: his parents, Archibald Baker and Janette Baker (Dingle); his wife Joan Barbara (Wilkie); his son Edward James Baker; his siblings, Burnham, Clarence, Maxwell, William, Marjorie Croft, Helen Ellis and Eliza Creaser; and his grandchildren, Tyler Baker and Stephanie Baker.

He is survived by: his children, Calvin (Linda), Dayspring, Archie of Pugwash, Vernon of Waterville, Joyce Baker (Warren), Liscomb and Beatrice Johnson (James) of Bedford; his grandson Edward Blake Baker (Crystal); and his sister-in-law Lauretta Baker of Sherbrooke. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke.
