He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Lewis and Margaret Lewis (Hurd); his wife Patsy (Keigan); his parents-in-law, Norman and Lexie Keigan (MacKinnon); and his siblings, Charles (Lorraine), Billy (Sylvia), Edie Smith (Frank) and Lorraine MacDonald (Junior).
He is survived by: his sons, Kenneth (Korena), Joseph (Carol), Kent (Wendy) and Scott; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Natasha (Cody), Tyler, Marissa, Stephanie and Brett; his great grandchildren, Jensen, Kane and Deacon; and his siblings, Marjorie MacInnis (Billy), Hazel Hart (Wilfred), Diane Gould (Larry) and Jimmy (Janet). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the W. J. Dooley Funeral Service Ltd. (107 Pleasant St, North Sydney, NS B2A1L9). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Matthew Wesley United Church (27 St Columba Dr, Leitches Creek, NS B2A3Z1).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
