We are sad to announce that on March 12, 2023, at the age of 80, Walter Harold Thompson of Lawrencetown, Nova Scotia, born in Middleton, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold C. Thompson and Leona V. Thompson (Israel). He is survived by: his wife Barbara J. Whitman; his children, Alana Thompson (Robert "Bob" Balcom), Corey Thompson (Angela) of Fredericton Junction, N. B. and Ian Thompson (Angela Lynn); his grandchildren, Megan, Caleb, Abigail "Abby", Alyssa and Amelia; his great grandchildren, Autumn and Brier; and his siblings, Dale Elsworth (Sam), Wanda Langille (late Stanley), Rose Bailey (late Daniel), Brook and Audley Thompson (late Pauline). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
