With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raymond Douglas Spurr of Lawrencetown, Nova Scotia, born in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia, who passed away on February 14, 2021 at the age of 78. He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Leroy and Marjorie Cecelia Spurr (Orde). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Spurr (MacDonald); his children, Tammy Smith (Robert), Paul and Derek; his grandchildren, Kaiden and Ronan; and his siblings, Lorraine (Alvah Titus) and Irvin David (Jeannie). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid 19, there will be no service; Ray's wishes were to be cremated and a memorial service will follow when family can travel, followed by interment in the family plot in Annapolis Royal.
