She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Brinton and Helen Brinton (Thurber); her spouse Orland Steadman; her sisters, Delma Taylor and Avis Chute; and her stepdaughter Vicki Tidd.

She is survived by: her children, Marina Zwicker (Robert Clark) of Terrace, BC and Michael Charlton (Heather) of Bear River, NS; her grandchildren, Crystal, Clayton Devoe, Hannah and Avery Charlton; her great grandchildren, Connor and Liam; her stepchildren, David Steadman (Heather), Bruce Steadman (Holly Connell), Janice Steadman and Ann Steadman (Steve Moore); her stepson-in-law Joseph Tidd; her siblings, Hilda Caldwell, Richard, Ronnie (Sue) and George; and her half-brother Lester Jr..
