It is with great sadness that we announce the death of June Marguerite Thompson of Lawrencetown, Nova Scotia, born in Middleton, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 25, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Lloyd Barteaux; her brothers, Carl and David; and her son Alan. She is survived by: her husband George Thompson; her children, Edward, Jeffrey (Karen), Golden Days Beach, Alb, Chris Thompson (Bonnie), Clarence, Deborah Hagen (Patrick) and Kelly Bakken; her sister Mary Barteaux (Gordon Toole); her sisters-in-law, Jackie Barteaux, Chrysler, Ont, Denise Barteaux and Nictaux; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Tyler), Chrystyn (Chris), Janene (Marty), Alyssa (Colten), Jordan Daphne (Allana), Laicy (Devon), George (Kayleigh), Gregory (Tabitha) and Ryan; and her great grandchildren, Shelby, Hailey, Lillian, Maddox, Evelynn, Jeffrey, William, Kristen, Levi, Elliott and Wyatt. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Association or Alzheimer Society.
