It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evan Joseph McKay of Lawrencetown, Nova Scotia, born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 10, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest McKay and Mary McKay (Beaver); his siblings, Carl, Gerald, Sharon and Joan; his mother-in-law Mary Colter; and his son Stephen Ritchie.

He is survived by: his significant other Marlene (Colter); his children, Darlene Ritchie and Ronnie McKay; his siblings, Donna (Gary), Jean (Eddie) and Michael; his grandchildren, Andrea (Jamie), Stephen (Alicia) and Hannah; and his great grandchildren, Kendelle and Kasey.
