It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doug Briggs of Lawrencetown, Nova Scotia, born in Carsonville, New Brunswick, who passed away on November 26, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Briggs and Dorothy Briggs (Parlee); his former spouse Gail Briggs (Toogood); his wife Cora Briggs (McMillan); his son Dougie; and his brothers, Arthur, Hillis and Richard.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Pretty (Roly) of Vancouver, BC, Patricia Williams (Cedric) of Sussex Corner, NB, Charlene Parlee (Philip) of Dutch Valley, NB, David Briggs (Lori) of McGregor Brook, NB and Michael Briggs (Jennie) of Lawrencetown, NS; his sisters, Marion Fenton and Elizabeth Reidle; his grandchildren, Morgan, Arlynn, Dylan, Jason, Jennifer, Scott, Rachel, Jarrod, Ashlyn, Matthew and Todd; and his great grandchildren, Elijah, Maddox, Raiden, Chayton, Ezra, Chantale, Chelsey, Jack, Hannah, Clayton, Aubrey, Grace, Stella, Dax, Caroline, Austin, Grayson and Jayden. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, and cousins.
