She was predeceased by: her parents, Wentzel McKinley and Alma McKinley; her husband Donald; her grandson Matthew Day; her sister Mae Negus; and her brothers-in-law, Clifford Negus and Donald Shrum.

She is survived by: her children, Debbie Day (Eric), Dana MacDonald (Allan) and Stephen Bremner (Tammy); her grandchildren, Leah, Christopher, Erica and Lawrence; her great grandchildren, Ava, Christian and Cole; and her sister Joyce Shrum. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
