He was predeceased by: his parents, Allan Surette and Gladys Surette (Marr); his siblings, Richard, Carol Ann (Thomas) and Rose (Harvey); and his niece Sheila.
He is survived by: his close friend Mary Phinney; his children, Shane Surette, Crystal Surette, Grande Prairie, Alta, Lisa Surette and Tammy King (Brian); his grandchildren, Sebastien and Dylan; and his brothers, Wayne (Karen) and Sonny (Mary). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Social distancing protocols must be followed and masks are mandatory for the visitation and funeral service.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church or the IWK Health Centre, Halifax.
