We bid farewell to Melvina Ida Pottie of L'Ardoise, Nova Scotia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 16, 2025 at the age of 71. Melvina Ida touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Georgette Pottie (Gallant) and Wilfred Pottie; her sister Lucy; and her half-sisters, Elizabeth and Theresa.
She is survived by: her siblings, Gerald, Felix, Paul, Patrick, Albert, David, Diean, Marie, Brenda and Christine; her half-sisters, Obiline, Sarah and Karen; and also Hal.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church (187 Chapel Cove Rd, St. Peter's, NS B0E1S0). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
