He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambrose MacIntosh and Alice Coffin; his wife Viola; and his sisters, Marie MacCuish (Bud) and Teresa Morgan.
He is survived by: his children, Edward (Wanda), Wayne (Kristy), Alice, Lower Sackville, Tina Madden (Jamie) and Port Hawkesbury; his grandchildren, Marc, Brandon, Sarah, Andrew, Jordan, Benjamin and Keiran Madden; his great grandchildren, Makiah, Nevaeh, Alayah and Arionah; and his siblings, Roy, Bill (Bertha), Antigonish Connie (Mary), Sydney, Peggy (Mark Kelland), Glace Bay and Doris (Jack MacDonald). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
