He was predeceased by: his parents, Jock Stuart and Pauline Stuart; and his son Greg Doherty. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his daughters, Michelle Doherty, Lisa Smith (Ken) and Andrea Stuart; and his siblings, Sheila Hull (Ed), Brenda Stuart (Doug), Dennis Stuart (Monica) and Colin Stuart (Marina). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
