He was predeceased by: his parents, James Carroll and Elizabeth Carroll (Ettinger); his wife Irma (Scott); his daughter Darlene Shackleton; and his siblings, Murray, Vernon, Arthur "John" and June Cole.
He is survived by: his children, Vernon Carroll (Cathy) and Terrie MacDonnell (Raymond); his siblings, Freddie Carroll, Erma Fraser and Irene Milbery; and his former wife Joyce Carroll. He is also survived by six grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
