He was predeceased by: his father Deacon Merlin Riley; his siblings, Joscelyn and Darrin; his grandparents, Deacon Edgar, Deaconess Elizabeth Johnston, Osborne and Florence Riley; and his godmother Alma Johnston-Tynes.

He is survived by: his mother Joyce Riley (Johnston); his children, Natasha Riley (Andre Tupper), Amber Dawn Slaunwhite (Mike Kelly), April Neale (Nathan), Jennifer Riley (Quinn Galpin) and Darren Riley (Tara-Lee); his sisters, Marcia Winters (Christopher) and Alanna LaPierre (Sylvio); his grandchildren, Jayshon, Landyn, Drequan, Lyncoln, Amarah, Nathalia, Rashard, Benjamin, Chandler, Zoey, Mason and Maverick; and his nephews, Christopher Riley, Robert and Ryan Winters.
