She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Gilbert and Nora Freeman (Baker); her niece Elaine; her siblings, Weldon Hopkins, Ronald Freeman (Jennifer), Leon Freeman, Muriel Cummings, Linda Freeman and Carol Freeman; her siblings-in-law, Walter Blakeney (Marjorie), Pansy Maskell and Jean Weisner (Horst); her husband David; her siblings, Nora Hopkins, Frances Freeman, Glen Freeman and Maynard Hopkins; and her siblings-in-law, Carolyn Hopkins and Hurson Maskell.

She was predeceased by her husband, David; sisters, Nora Hopkins, Frances Freeman; brothers, Glen Freeman, Maynard Hopkins; sister-in-law, Carolyn Hopkins; brother-in-law, Hurson Maskell. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, funeral service will be by invitation only in Marine Drive Pentecostal Church with Pastor Scott Anderson officiating.
