She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Smith and Florence Smith (MacDonnell); her husband Thomas "Tom"; and her siblings, Ronald and Cora.
She is survived by: her children, Michelle Shears (David) of Yellowknife, NT and Brad Beardsley (Renee); her grandchildren, Abby, Emily, James and Addison; and her sister Betty Jean Smith. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
