He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Berry and Manola Carter (Baker); his partner Ivy Landry (Toney); and his siblings, Claude, Helen, Georgie, Dorothy and Marie.
He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Carolyn Landry and Neenie Landry; his sisters, Eva, Pauline, Phyllis and Virginia; and his close friend Jessie Campbell. He is also survived by several other stepchildren, step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren; as well was many nieces, nephews and extended family.
