She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Robertson and Florence Robertson (Coombs); and her sisters, Dorothy Chittick and Joan Brown. She is survived by: her husband Gerald Doherty; her children, Steven (Trudi) of Whonnock, BC, David (Sandy) and Jennifer Bentley-Aalders (Mike) of Nepean, ON; her stepdaughters, Laura Doherty, Nictaux and Lynn Stevens; her sister Elizabeth Tappen (Fred); her grandchildren, Jessica, Julian, Dana, Matthew, Emily, Joseph, Anna and John; and her great grandchildren, Charlotte, Josh, Silas, Natalie and Alexandru.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
